Mary Beth Johnson – After growing up with a backdrop of and huge appreciation for all things art, be it painting, sculpture, pottery, literature, music, photography, glasswork – the list goes on and on – I lacked the requisite skill or flair to go beyond pure non-partipatory enjoyment. However, being artistic doesn’t necessarily mean knowing how to paint a watercolor or play the tuba; being creative is a way of thinking, of viewing the world. And so, after long careers within Corporate America and the real estate appraisal industry, it was time to tap into my long-time passion…time to dust off the right side of the brain. I’m thrilled and honored to be working with so many talented and creative artisans, showcasing their custom pieces nationwide so that people who wouldn’t ordinarily be able to, can now also delight in their visions and abilities…my dream enterprise, to be sure! |

Lizz Cleaver – Lizz has been taking photographs for as long as she can remember, going back to her childhood, even then never leaving her camera behind. She is currently in her last year at California State University, Sacramento and will graduate in the Spring of 2011 with Bachelors degrees in Anthropology and Photography. Her lifelong dream has been to work for National Geographic and travel the globe, which she will continue to pursue after graduation. When she’s not taking photographs, Lizz is either cheering on her two favorite soccer teams, Chelsea FC and the England National Soccer Team, or spending time with her niece Gracie. |
